The 2024 Paris Olympics kick off Friday as athletes representing over 200 nations will parade in boats down the Seine River during the opening ceremony, marking the first ceremony held outside a stadium.
The Games, which consist of 329 events spread among 32 different sports, continue through Sunday, Aug. 11.
