Source – Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown had contusion, cramping vs. Bucs

DETROIT — Detroit Lions star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown initially was determined to have only a contusion and cramping despite hobbling throughout Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

St. Brown left the game with about 30 seconds remaining after hauling in a reception on the first play of the Lions’ final drive.

The two-time Pro Bowler did not return for the Lions’ last five plays of the 20-16 loss and was seen on the sideline undergoing treatment and evaluation on his legs.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Sunday that Brown was “all right,” adding that he didn’t think the injury was “anything long term, so that’s good news.”

St. Brown finished with a team-high 11 catches for 119 yards against Tampa Bay. It was his seventh career game with 10 or more receptions.

The Lions (1-1) visit the Arizona Cardinals (1-1) in Week 3.
