Australia wins the U19 CWC 2024 title against the defending champion team India in the final by 79 runs.
Despite all the efforts that U19 Indian cricket team put through out the tournament could not defend its title and lost against Australia in the final by a huge 79 runs margin.
Australia U19 team remained dominant through out the tournament and managed to earn the title for the 4th time. It was 2010 when Australia won the title against against pakistan.
The match took place at the Willowmoore Park, Benoni stadium where Australia won the toss and elected to bat first and with a loss of 7 wickets Aussies made 257 runs.
Chasing the target Indian U19 Cricket team batted second and got all out scoring a run of 173 in 43.5 overs.
from Indian side Adarsh Singh scored the highest runs of 47 runs in 77 runs including 4 fours and 1 six in total.
From Australian Side Harjas Singh scored highest of 55 runs in 64 balls including 3 fours and 3 sixes in total.
Man of the match was Mahli Beardman who took 3 wickets while sparing a 15 runs in 7 overs which is a remarkable performance.
