Cavaliers part ways with head coach JB Bickerstaff

The Cleveland Cavaliers have parted ways with head coach JB Bickerstaff, according to a report by The Athletic.

Golden State assistant Kenny Atkins and New Orleans associate head coach James Borrego are expected to be among the candidates to replace Bickerstaff, according to the report.

The 45-year-old Bickerstaff was 170-159 (.517) in four-plus seasons leading the Cavaliers. The team went 48-34 this season, finishing fourth in the East. But the Cavs were eliminated in the Eastern Conference semifinals in five games by the Boston Celtics.

This is a developing story.
