INDIANAPOLIS — Jonathan Taylor’s longest run of the season came at just the right time for the Colts. The star running back got Indianapolis on the board when he ripped off a 29-yard touchdown run against the Chicago Bears, giving the Colts a 7-0 lead with 8:26 remaining in the second quarter.

Taylor started up the field on an inside run, but used a quick jump cut to dart outside when the Bears defenders blocked his path. From there, Taylor used his speed and clutch blocks from tight end Mo Alie-Cox and receiver Alec Pierce to cruise to the end zone.
After scoring, he jumped into the arms of former Colts Pro Bowl receiver T.Y. Hilton, who was seated in an end zone suite with another former Colt — former punter and ESPN personality, Pat McAfee.
Taylor’s 29-yard run tied his longest of the season, the previous one coming last week against the Green Bay Packers.
