England manager Gareth Southgate will name his provisional squad for Euro 2024 on Tuesday, with sources telling ESPN that Eberechi Eze and Marc Guéhi are due to be included but Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson will miss out.
Henderson joined Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq last summer before joining Ajax in January in an attempt to remain in contention for the European Championship. However, Southgate will leave him out for this summer’s tournament in Germany.

Rashford has had a difficult season with Manchester United, registering seven goals in 33 league appearances as the team finished eighth in the Premier League.
Sources have told ESPN that Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell will also miss out, although teammate Levi Colwill will be included.
Southgate will name his final squad, which can include 26 players, next month.
Neither Eze, Guéhi nor Colwill have previously appeared at a major tournament for England, while Henderson played at both Euro 2016 and 2020 as well as the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
Meanwhile, Chilwell was an unused member of the Euro 2020 squad and missed the 2022 World Cup with a hamstring injury.
