The Jaguars were reeling in the second quarter of their second game in London, down 10-0, and needed to put a drive together. Six plays and 68 yards later, they cut into the Patriots’ momentum with Trevor Lawrence’s 6-yard TD pass to rookie Brian Thomas Jr.
Thomas lined up in a bunch formation with tight end Evan Engram and receiver Christian Kirk on the right side of the formation. He cut underneath Engram’s release and was wide open in the middle of the field, an easy throw for Lawrence.
That was Thomas’ first target of the game and his team-leading fourth touchdown catch of the season.

Thomas set up the Jaguars’ second touchdown with a 58-yard contested catch in the middle of the field to the Patriots’ 21-yard line.
After a three-yard reception by Engram, Tank Bigsby carried the ball three consecutive times — the last being a 1-yard run for a touchdown that put the Jaguars ahead 14-10.
