Jason Gillespie, the former Australian bowler, has been announced as Pakistan’s new Test coach, while former South African batter Gary Kirsten has been named white-ball coach. Azhar Mahmood, who had been appointed on a temporary basis for the New Zealand series, will continue as the assistant coach for all formats.
