Both teams played stingy defense, and that’s what dominated the game. In fact, it took the Chiefs until late in the third quarter to score a touchdown, and it took the recovery of a muffed punt to set it up.
The game ultimately went to overtime (Remember that 49ers PAT that was blocked in the fourth quarter?), with the Chiefs pulling out a 25-22 victory.
