After a memorable offseason that saw women’s basketball undergo a historic rise in popularity, WNBA opening night is finally upon us.
The New York Liberty, led by reigning MVP Breanna Stewart, and the Washington Mystics kick off the regular season, followed by Caitlin Clark’s highly anticipated debut as the Indiana Fever take on the Connecticut Sun.
Two simultaneous games will end the night’s action: Phoenix Mercury vs. Las Vegas Aces and Minnesota Lynx vs. Seattle Storm. A’ja Wilson and the defending champion Aces will look to begin their bid for a three-peat with a win over Phoenix, while the Storm, who acquired All-Star veterans Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike, will debut their revamped roster.
Before the W’s finest take the hardwood, they dazzled the pregame tunnel with their opening night outfits.
From Washington, D.C., to Seattle, here are the night’s most fashionable looks.
