The Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics set the tone with their pregame arrivals as they prepared to tip off the 2024 NBA Finals.
The Mavericks are back in the Finals for the first time since 2011. Dallas defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference finals 4-1 as guards Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic continued to make their postseason mark.
The Celtics are making their 23rd appearance in the Finals after sweeping the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals. They’re vying for their NBA-record 18th title and first since 2008.
Doncic arrived at TD Garden for Game 1 wearing a three-piece navy blue suit with a pair of black dress shoes.
